Well it has been a hot minute...

rachelellenyoga1

It has been almost a year since I last wrote to you here.

My other little corner of the internet.

And what a year it has been.

I'll go for personal life updates first then to Rachelellenyoga business.

Last May, I sat in an online women's circle with Kate Gaffey and I wrote out my Beltaine intentions.

Two of which were:

To own our own light filled, safe & cosy home space.

For Sam to propose in the most magical and unforgettable way.

So now I have two unforgettable dates in my mind from 2022.

05/08/22

We got the keys to our first home. A mixture of pure relief, exhaustion and a lot of "oh god where do we even start?"

19/09/22

The most special day of my life. On a beach in Findhorn when Sam asked me to marry him. Not a scrap of a sunset and not a person in sight. It was as if time stood still.

Since that moment in September, wedding planning has been on the brain and boy oh boy nothing can ever prepare you for planning a wedding. It is confronting and exhilarating and confronting again and full of expectations. With a 10 month long engagement, Sam working two jobs, me teaching yoga and completing 2nd year of Uni plus a placement and generally trying to stay sane - we have a lot on our plate.

To be absolutely honest, we wouldn't have it any other way.

Yes better sleep would be favorable (no one warned me of the wedding nightmares!?) but we are working on that too.

Personal development-wise, I have been journeying with my dear friend Sarah on her 9 month coven journey. A series of 9 women's circles based on different goddesses. We only have two gatherings left. These check-in points every month have been the deepest source of comfort and solace amongst the madness.

The women in those circles are endlessly inspiring.

To have a space to go with all of your feelings and be seen and heard has been absolutely life-changing. Sarah, you are a stellar being and I love you so very much.

One weekend in particular needs to be mentioned;

My Edinburgh Hen.

A true life highlight.

It was everything I wanted and more.

My girls looked after me so incredibly well and the outpouring of love was so overwhelming in the most heart-expanding way.

I often revisit the photos and videos and millions of polaroids we took that weekend.

Unreal.

So what is happening with Rachelellenyoga?

Things are shifting.

The doors of beautiful Calm on Canning Street are closing.

I have found a new home for our Saturday classes for a piece of the Summer and after that, we are entering a no man's land.

With my second year placement on the horizon, my attention is shifting over to that. Weekend classes are still on and there will be some mid-week evening only classes through the month of May and into June.

Release to Rise is returning in the Summer plus a very special workshop at Calm on Sunday 28th of May. The best place to keep up to date with my classes is through my weekly newsletter which goes out every Monday at 8am.

You can sign up for it via the pop-up on my website.

So I'll sign this off here for now and hope it won't be too long until I write to you again.

As always, thank you for being here.

Without you, Rachelellenyoga would not be here 4 years on.
